Alright, we’re kicking off this week with the first Masters 1000 of the American tour, and Canada is welcoming us in Montreal.
Honestly, I’m having a hard time seeing how the slow playing conditions and high bounce of the ball on these courts won’t favor the big hitters and clay court specialists. With a Zverev, a Ruud or a Rublev, we should be in for some epic rallies.
But be careful though, as this tournament is always very open. Popyrin proved it in 2024 and Shelton last year. On paper, they don’t seem so far from the top players, and they could well create a surprise once again.
Anyway, it’s going to be an exciting week in Montreal! I’ll be back very soon with my first analyses in the PREMIUM PASS. Good matches to all ♥️
