• Monfils, for his part, gets through in 4 sets against Vallejo, a very solid match on his part, in a closed and air-conditioned stadium.

• But tonight, the roof won't be closed, and the heat should therefore be a bit more complicated to manage for Gaël, especially against a profile like Tien capable of exhausting him behind the baseline.

• The 2 players met a few weeks ago in Montreal, Tien's victory in 3 sets with a completely cooked Monfils after 2 hours of play.

• So I more or less expect the same scenario, a Frenchman capable of taking a set but no more.
